Overview
We are looking for an experienced Distribution Security Officer to be the first point of contact for all customers and clients.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include creating a safe and welcoming working environment, responding to any on site incidents, and requesting assistance or assuming control until arrival of the Client, Emergency Services or Duty Manager.
You will be a trustworthy, attentive, and approachable individual who is confident welcoming clients and visitors. Proactively, you will highlight any breaches of security procedures through monitoring the Site, Fire, Intruder and CCTV systems and report to the Business Protection Co-ordinator by recording, reporting and escalating incidents through the established processes.
You will need to support with access and escorting people and vehicles to and from the site.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a SIA licence holder and possess Door Supervision, Security Guarding or CCTV licenses. A Full UK Driving licence would be beneficial. On appointment, this role will require you to undergo vetting and an SC screening.
