As a member of the Senior Management Team for Perth Theatre and Concert Hall, you will have a pivotal role in the organisation, working with all teams on Conference & Events sales and promotion, events management and ensuring a streamlined booking process, including those cultural performances not part of the creative programming.
You will also oversee the Visitor Experience Team, and the commercial income stream generated from front-of-house activities. You will line-manage the Conference & Events Executive and the Visitor Experience Manager.
As Head of Events & Visitor Experience, you will be passionate about exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere that leaves our visitors eager to return, whether attending shows, workshops, conferences, our café and bars, or just meeting friends.
You will have extensive commercial experience, enabling you to maximise existing income streams, generate new income opportunities, and utilise your expertise and imagination to drive change.
Between our two buildings, you will be responsible for a large team of Visitor Experience staff, deliver a varied Conference & Events programme, operate a busy daytime café together with a demanding bar operation, and ensure the safety and wellbeing of visitors in all our public spaces.
