Responsibilities
The Delivery Team is responsible for delivering seamless, end to end service provisioning across the Neos Networks portfolio, including Ethernet and Optical solutions. Working closely with major network partners such as Openreach, Virgin Media, Vodafone, CityFibre, Sky, and TalkTalk Business, the team ensures services are delivered accurately, on time, and to a high standard.
As an Order Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of customer orders, with a primary focus on supporting SSE as Neos’ main customer. You will proactively manage progress across multiple suppliers and act as the key point of contact for SSE, while also supporting other customers as required. Managing expectations, resolving supplier escalations, and delivering an excellent customer experience are central to the role.
You’ll proactively manage supplier engagement, track milestones, resolve delays and escalations, and keep customers informed throughout the lifecycle.
The role also plays a key part in forecasting delivery volumes, managing aged work‑in‑progress, and safeguarding commercial and quality standards, all with the aim of delivering a right‑first‑time customer experience.
Qualifications
The role typically requires a minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics, with A-levels or vocational qualifications in Business Administration, IT, or Telecommunications being desirable but not essential.
Practical experience in order management and provisioning often outweighs formal education. Experience in placing and managing customer orders across multiple systems and supplier platforms, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery, is preferred.
Key Attributes
