Sales Operations Executive (EMEA & Marketplace)
Reports to: Operations Manager
Location: Hybrid – Nottingham Office (2 days per week)
Department: Operations
Purpose of Role
Own the operational backbone of the EMEA sales function. This role bridges commercial execution and operational excellence - ensuring every retailer order, new line setup, and marketplace listing runs seamlessly from order to delivery. The remit spans EMEA sales order processing, EDI and system optimisation, and marketplace operations (Amazon + future channels).
Key Responsibilities
Sales Operations & Order Management
* Manage end-to-end processing of all EMEA retailer and marketplace purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and on-time fulfilment.
* Maintain and optimise EDI connections, continuously improving automation and data flow with retailers and 3PLs.
* Liaise daily with warehouses, supply, and finance to ensure smooth order execution, shipment confirmation, and invoicing alignment.
* Proactively flag and resolve fulfilment risks (OOS, delays, or discrepancies).
* Partner with sales teams to maintain visibility of order status, cut reports, and key shipment metrics.
Marketplace Operations
* Oversee operational delivery for Amazon and other marketplaces (future).
* Coordinate SKU setup, listing accuracy, compliance checks, and price alignment.
* Collaborate with sales and marketing to manage product lifecycle on marketplaces - from launch readiness to delist.
* Develop processes to streamline and automate marketplace operations for scalability.
Systems, Process & Data
* Champion operational efficiency across EMEA sales processes (EDI, PO tracker, retailer portals, and Netsuite).
* Maintain SKU-level data integrity across systems, ensuring accurate pricing, pack sizes, and masterdata.
* Partner with BI and Operations to evolve dashboards for order status, fulfilment accuracy, and EDI performance.
* Identify automation opportunities to simplify manual admin (order entry, PO tracking, reporting).
Reporting & Insights
* Deliver weekly and monthly order fulfilment reporting, highlighting risks, late orders, and process gaps.
* Maintain visibility of open orders, backorders, and retailer fulfilment rates.
* Support demand and finance reconciliation processes with clean data and operational context.
Collaboration
* Work closely with EMEA sales and customer support teams to create a seamless end-to-end customer experience - from order to delivery.
* Partner with Supply and Warehouse leads to ensure alignment on forecasted volumes, OOS updates, and key launches.
* Collaborate with Demand Planning to ensure system data aligns between FuturMaster and Netsuite.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in Sales Operations, Customer Operations, or Order Management within FMCG or Beauty.
* Comfortable managing retailer portals and EDI platforms.
* Data-driven mindset - comfortable with Excel, ERP systems (Netsuite preferred), and process mapping.
* Experience or interest in marketplace (Amazon) operations.
* Natural problem-solver with strong organisational skills and curiosity for improvement.
* Clear communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams (Sales, Supply, Ops, and Finance).
