Note: This role is Part Time 2-3 Days per week based on site in Glasgow.
You’ll be responsible for:
1. Must have the legal right to work in the UK and be able to commute to Glasgow
2. Experience delivering infrastructure projects in a Project Management capacity.
3. Determining project management, technical services and external resources required for project/s.
4. Delivering project objectives in line with the Project Execution Plan, leads and supervises the project team/s and relevant stakeholders to achieve strategic project key performance indicators (KPIs).
5. Monitoring and actively engages in Health, Safety and Wellbeing aspects of the project at all stages.
6. Preparing and modifying where necessary project plans and keeps them updated and relevant over the course of the project/s.
7. Overseeing project timeframes and project budgets and ensures budgets are managed diligently and highlights any risks, challenges and mitigations.
8. Collaborating with relevant parties/stakeholders and ensures robust quality systems are in place and suitably managed and monitored.
9. Managing relevant meetings, providing relevant parties with contextual information and analysis where required and site walks and ensures these are suitably recorded.
10. Partnering with relevant stakeholders and is actively involved in risk management.
11. Effectively coordinates and communicates with all project parties/stakeholders, ensuring completion of responsibilities/tasks and ensures suitable standards and records are recorded and maintained.
12. Documenting and taking ownership of project changes as and when necessary, tracking project changes.
13. Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
You’ll need to have:
14. Membership of APM, ICE or similar, or evidence of ongoing professional development.
15. A good understanding of NEC contracts.
16. Confidence using CEMAR for contract administration, early warnings, compensation events, and NEC compliance.
17. Experience managing capital programmes, ensuring delivery to scope, budget, and deadlines.
18. The ability to coordinate design, construction, utilities, traffic management, and stakeholder activity across urban environments.
19. Experience leading cross‑functional teams, working with contractors, and maintaining progress in politically sensitive contexts.
20. A solid approach to managing risks, issues, and change, with the ability to balance competing priorities.
21. Clear communication skills, with confidence engaging residents, councillors, statutory bodies, and partner organisations.
22. Competence in using project management tools, dashboards, and reporting systems to support programme visibility and assurance.
