Job Description:
Gentech Recruitment is partnering with our client based in Craigavon to recruit a Fabricator/Welder Supervisor. The role involves liaising with the Senior Fabricator and Fabrication Coordinator to establish workload requirements, reading and understanding pipe fabrication drawings, and fabricating pipe sets for various diameters (typically carbon steel & stainless steel pipes ranging from 65mm to 500mm) from shop drawings. The supervisor must ensure adherence to welding procedures, proper pipe preparation and fit-up, and coordinate with line managers regarding defects, safety issues, and non-conformances. The role requires ensuring work progresses timely and according to specifications.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Previous MIG and TIG welding experience
* Fabrication experience
* Supervisory experience
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 7am-5pm, Friday 7am-4pm
Contract: Permanent + benefits
