Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled HGV Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and fitting parts to construct metal structures.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Measure and cut materials to precise specifications
- Assemble and fit components using hand tools and welding equipment
- Ensure accuracy and quality of finished products
- Conduct quality checks on completed work
- Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role
- Proficiency in using hand tools and welding equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a workshop environment
Skills:
- Delivery driver experience preferred
- Commercial driving skills desirable
