Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Team Leader to oversee the smooth running of a day to day care shiftThe ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising staff, managing team dynamics, and ensuring that high standards of care is provided to the residents.
Responsibilities
* Supervise the staff to ensure that they are fulfilling their roles and responsibilitites.
* Lead by example, demonstrating excellent communication within your team members and external health care proffessionals.
* provide support and guidance to staff to enable development.
* ensure tht there are sufficient members of staff, based on the needs of the residents, cover the shifts 24 hours in advance.
* Liaising with health professionals and relatives to achieve the best care for each resident.
* Administering a nd recording medication.
* working alongside the care assistants to support residents with daily needs,ensuring residents remain as active and independent as possible.
* Be professional and approachable at all times.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a supervisory role within the care sector is highly desirable.
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with both staff and residents,relatives, healthcare professionals.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution within the team environment.
* Flexibility to work varied shifts as required by the operational needs of the business.
