Outstanding pension scheme Life assurance Health and dental cashplan About the role As Technician Quality, you will monitor all aspects of Quality Assurance including conducting internal quality system audits and improve quality control procedures. You will monitor product quality, supplier quality, conduct investigations of non-conformities, and establish if any corrective action needs to be undertaken. Becoming an integral part of the lifeboat test proving process in the form of acceptance trials, you will actively promote and support the Continuous Improvement (Lean) manufacturing using established tools and techniques, ensuring that Inspection, Measuring & Test Equipment (IMTE) is properly calibrated and that all records are correctly maintained. It is desirable you have experience of working in a quality control/assurance role within a manufacturing environment, coupled with practical experience of working with boats. Awareness of Continuous Improvement (Lean) principles and methodology would be an advantage. You will actively participate in problem solving activity to identify the route cause and implement countermeasures and the creation of key KPI’s to support the manufacturing delivery. About you It is desirable you have CQI qualification in Quality Management with significant experience in a boat production or repair environment.
