We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk Council's Housing Management Team as an Operational Lead of the Capital Programme
Your role
You will be working as part of the council's Housing Investment team, you will be custodian of the council's stock condition information and develop investment plans to deliver high quality housing. This involves taking a lead role in developing, delivering and supporting the councils' investment programme and proactively managing the Housing portfolio.
You will be responsible for a programme which delivers high quality, affordable investment programmes and providing support to the Property and Development Operational Leads to proactively manage the Council's housing portfolio.
What you will need
You will have previous experience with management of property condition information, investment planning and contract administration using JCT or similar forms of building contracts and would have worked with building regulations and planning requirements relating to England. You will have understanding of investment [planning, building practices, building performance and causes of damage to the fabric of buildings, along with good people management skills, including the ability to motivate a team to perform to their optimum ability.
