Software Engineer – Defence Sector
Location: Bolton (5 days on site)
Salary: Up to £64,000 + Bonus + Paid Overtime
Security Clearance: SC required to start (Sole British or Dual UK/NATO nationals only)

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain software using C++ and C# within a Windows environment
* Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle: design, integration, delivery, and support
* Collaborate in Agile (Scrum) teams, typically consisting of 5–7 engineers
* Engage with multiple subsystems, understanding broader functional interactions
Required Experience:
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience with C++ and C#
* Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum)
* Strong knowledge of the full software development lifecycle
* Background in developing within a Windows-based environment
* Exposure to automated testing or Windows OS lockdown is highly desirable
