Job Title: League Manager / Football coach

Job Purpose
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic League Manager / Football Coach to lead the delivery, organisation, and coaching of football programmes in the Regents Park area. The role will involve managing local league activity, delivering high‑quality coaching sessions, and supporting the development of players across grassroots and development football environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and structured football coaching sessions across designated age groups and ability levels on Sunday mornings in Regents Park
* Set up and pack down equipment
* Manage and coordinate local league fixtures, ensuring smooth organisation and communication with teams, parents, and venues on Saturday mornings in Regents Park
* Support player development through positive coaching, feedback, and progression opportunities
* Plan and prepare coaching sessions in line with development principles and programme objectives
* Build strong relationships with players, parents, schools, and local community partners
* Ensure all sessions are delivered in a safe, inclusive, and positive environment
* Maintain accurate records of attendance, fixtures, and player progress where required
Essential Requirements
* Minimum FA Level 1 Coaching Qualification (UEFA C desirable or working towards)
* Experience working in grassroots or youth football environments
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to manage groups of children and young people in a positive and safe manner
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
* Knowledge of safeguarding and child welfare in sport
Desirable Skills & Experience
* Experience in league or fixture coordination
* Experience working with diverse community groups
* Previous involvement in player development or talent identification programmes
* Strong leadership and problem‑solving skills
* Ability to work evenings and weekends as required
* Valid UK Driving Licence
