Role
You and your Team:
You’ll be part of a collaborative Platform Team that enables the business and delivery teams to succeed using our core software platforms. Together you keep key solution platforms secure, up‑to‑date and consistently managed through planned and controlled processes. You work closely with delivery teams and stakeholders across the business to champion platform capabilities, encourage solution‑led design and maximise feature re‑use. You play a key role in maintaining evolving and promoting the effective use of our critical operational systems, helping teams deliver faster. As a Platform Specialist you will:
* Act as the Subject Matter Expert for the SaaS platforms and particularly the Mulesoft API platform, aligning platform capabilities with business needs and advising business technical and delivery teams on best practice platform performance and reliability.
* Work with vendor and support teams to ensure availability, effective support and rapid incident resolution.
* Deliver platform updates and releases by reviewing vendor release notes, coordinating required changes and protecting service continuity during delivery.
* Build and release solutions by providing access guidance and hands‑on support across non‑production and production environments.
* Work with architecture, access and information security teams to ensure appropriate controls, data integrity and feature compliance.
Qualifications
* Proven experience owning and managing a complex SaaS‑based platform, ensuring reliability, security and fit for purpose.
* Strong track record of working with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into practical solutions and deliver clear guidance.
* Experience (ideally 3 years) with MuleSoft and/or Salesforce; experience in a software delivery function alongside developers and in an Agile environment.
* Analytical and troubleshooting skills, able to diagnose issues quickly and prioritise or escalates effectively.
* Growth mindset with strong communication skills and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
* Eligible for standard background checks (credit, fraud and employment references).
