We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join team, working in a lovely nursery in Caversham.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing high-quality childcare and early education in a warm, nurturing environment where children can thrive.
About the Role
As a Level 3 Practitioner, you will:
Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children, adhering to room ratios and policies
Support children’s learning and development through play-based activities
Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Observe, assess, and record children’s progress, ensuring detailed, quality record keeping
Work as part of a positive and professional nursery team, providing an active involvement in staff meetings
Ensure safeguarding and welfare standards are always maintained, completing risk assessments, hazard logs and documentation as required
Oversee the settling in of new children, liaising closely with caregivers and fellow staff members to ensure a smooth transition
Requirements
Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification – this is essential
Good understanding of the EYFS framework
Previous nursery or childcare experience
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Paediatric First Aid qualification desirable but not essential
