Overview
Personalised Learning Dorset are a dedicated mentoring and re-engagement service supporting young people in Dorset, Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch and Wiltshire. We work with young people in their homes and communities as well as at our Blandford Hub to give them the confidence and skills to take the next step in their educational journey.
Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 mentoring or small group sessions with young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
* Deliver mentoring in homes, communities, or the Blandford Hub.
* Be a confident practitioner and work with professionals in a collaborative setting.
* Contribute to a comprehensive, personalised training program for the successful applicant.
* Support students through personalised learning and re-engagement plans.
* Deliver activities such as sporting, musical, or art sessions if applicable.
Qualifications
* Proven track record of working with young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
* Background in youth work or pastoral/teaching assistant roles preferred.
* Confident practitioner; comfortable working 1:1 or in small groups.
* Willingness to apply skills in a new setting and/or deliver activities in sport/music/art.
