Senior Project Manager
Life Sciences / Data Centre Projects
Location: Cambridge
Salary / Package: Up to £125,000
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex life sciences and data centre projects in Cambridge.
This role requires a proven leader with experience managing technically demanding environments where programme certainty, compliance and quality are critical.
Working with a leading contractor, you will take full responsibility for project delivery from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of life sciences or data centre projects from inception to completion
*
Manage programme, budget, risk and stakeholder expectations
*
Oversee multidisciplinary teams including MEP, specialist trades and consultants
*
Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety and quality standards
*
Coordinate commissioning, validation and handover processes
*
Drive project performance, reporting and client communication
*
Manage procurement strategy and subcontractor performance
*
Maintain strict control of programme milestones and commercial outcomes
Requirements
*
Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering complex construction projects
*
Background in life sciences, pharmaceutical, cleanroom or data centre environments
*
Strong understanding of MEP coordination and critical services infrastructure
*
Experience managing high-value projects with demanding programmes
*
Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
*
Strong commercial awareness and risk management capability
*
SMSTS
*
CSCS (Black or Management level)
Highly Desirable Experience
*
GMP or regulated environments
*
Cleanroom construction & validation processes
*
Data centre resilience & critical systems infrastructure
*
Working within live or operational environments
*
Tier 1 or major contractor experience
