We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Trainee Accountant to join our team. Working towards a role as a CIPFA qualified Corporate Accountant, you will be a key member of the capital finance team, taking a lead role in the monitoring and production of capital budgets, production of elements of the annual statutory accounts and working with the Principal Accountant to interpret and apply new financial accounting requirements. The successful candidate will hold a relevant degree and progression through the grades will be dependent on exam success.
Home / Hybrid Working Consideration

Home or Hybrid working options can be discussed with candidates invited for interview. All applicants must live in the UK and will be expected to attend Council offices from time to time as required.
Job Details
Work collaboratively with the Principal Accountant, Service Managers and Heads of Service to manage their resources effectively and as efficiently as possible, providing appropriate financial advice and guidance to support service delivery and facilitate any future transformational change agenda.
