About the Role * Location: Longley Lane, Wythenshawe, Manchester * Salary: To £55,005, inclusive of shift allowance (Depending upon experience) * Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, Nights, 18:00-06:00 * Benefits: 10% Bonus Pension Holidays Sick Pay use of Company van when required company discount scheme What will I be doing as a multiskilled engineer? * Taking lead of all mechanical tasks and offering support for electrical issues when required, ensuring all plant machinery meet regulatory requirements. * Reactive breakdown resolution including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical maintenance. * Planned maintenance to follow schedule for conveyors, ECS’, Balers, compactors, shredders, gearboxes, motors etc. * Involvement in planned yearly shutdowns. * Travelling to other sites in the area when required. * Mentoring and supporting apprentices during their development. What are the requirements? * NVQ level 3 in engineering discipline or equivalent. * 18th edition qualification- or willingness to complete within 3 months of starting. * Previous experience with mechanical maintenance for industrial machinery including conveyors, motors, gearboxes, mobile plant equipment etc. * Welding/Fabrication experience.
