What's in it for you
·£28,000 basic salary
·37.5 hour working week
·Core hours 9am-4pm, with flexibility to start from 7am or finish up to 6pm
·Early finish every Friday at 12pm
·25 days holiday, rising to 28 over time
What will you be doing?
·Processing purchase invoices and matching them to purchase orders
·Ensuring invoices are correctly authorised and recorded
·Preparing and proposing purchase ledger payment runs
·Posting payments and allocating cash accurately
·Reconciling supplier statements
·Liaising with suppliers to resolve invoice queries promptly
·Supporting the wider finance team with general finance administration
Where you'll be doing it
You'll be based in Stockport, working from modern offices that support flexible and collaborative working. The business operates in a specialist engineering environment and is part of a wider international group, offering long-term stability and growth.
What you'll need
·Experience or understanding of purchase ledger / accounts payable processes
·Good IT skills, including ERP systems and Microsoft Office
·Strong attention to detail and accuracy
·Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workload
·Confidence handling confidential information
·A proactive approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
·Clear written and verbal communication skills
