Commercial Account Handler - Leading Independent Broker - Doncaster

We’re delighted to be partnering with the Doncaster office of a highly regarded independent insurance brokers, who are looking to add an experienced Commercial Account Handler to their team due to growth. The role will be part of a tight knit team of 5 and will work directly with the Sales Director, supporting them with the servicing of their clients.

The Role:
You’ll be supporting the servicing and retention of a portfolio of commercial clients, managing premiums ranging from £5,000 to over £100,000.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
* Handling renewals and ensuring high retention rates
* Broking new and renewal business
* Liaising with underwriters and negotiating favourable terms
* Working daily with Acturis to process and manage policies
About You:
* Proven experience in an SME or Commercial Account Handler role
* Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
* A proactive approach and high attention to detail
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
* Experience using Acturis is advantageous
