This role supports Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe through our Alliance Healthcare business. We are seeking a Senior Marketing Executive (Maternity Cover Contract). In this role you will work closely with Commercial and Category Managers to create and deliver effective marketing activation plans, focusing on our brand. You will design and lead marketing activities—including adverts, sales aids, point‑of‑sale materials, brochures, publications, and leaflets—to increase brand profile and drive sales across markets. Additionally, you will launch awareness campaigns for two of our own brands to downstream partners, coordinate with external manufacturing partners, and own the delivery of launch toolkits (trade and price book adverts, digital banners, sales aids, window posters, etc.). You will collaborate with Enterprise to create projects that drive commercial value for our brands, partner with Digital and Marketing Executives to implement revenue‑driving awareness campaigns via marketing cloud, and analyze ROI/impact on revenue through metrics such as open rates and lead generation.
Key Responsibilities
* Brief, manage and motivate external agency partners and suppliers, providing creative input, ensuring high standards and timely completion.
* Review success of all activities against KPIs and propose next steps and key learnings.
* Support the Head of Marketing in developing and delivering strategic marketing projects and campaigns.
* Own media relationships with trade publications to deliver the annual advertising plan for own and other brands.
* Lead partnership with CIG and other trade publications to create the annual advertising schedule, monitor spend, and ensure collateral submissions align with the plan.
* Develop new trade adverts with agencies to support awareness drives for other business areas.
Qualifications & Attributes
* Previous experience in a brand‑led marketing department.
* Strong brand and commercial marketing management skills (advertising/compliance experience preferred, strategy, and data/ROI analysis).
* Excellent planning, organization, and project management skills, with a proven ability to analyze project ROI.
* Ability to work rapidly in a busy, fast‑paced environment with agility and multi‑tasking capacity.
* Excellent written and verbal communication, strong influencing skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
* Positive, constructive, can‑do attitude.
* Marketing or business degree; CIM qualification preferred.
