Rate: £350-£425 a day outside IR35 Location: Birmingham office 3 days a week - 2 from home Contract length: Initial 6 months with likely extensions Overview: The role requires a senior engineer to lead a team of engineers/graduates to support in managing the Geotechnical Construction Phase Support (CPS) on the HS2 route. The role will require managing the team delivering the Geotechnical CPS scope within a design area liaising with the technical lead and reporting to the Geotechnical CPS Discipline lead. The role requires co-locating in the client's construction site offices on the eastern side of Birmingham at least 3 days per week. In this role you will be supporting the contractor/ client on site managing issues that have arisen on site and supporting in validating design assumptions.
