Fitter/Mechanic – Grounds Maintenance Equipment
📍 Location:, Cheam, (South London & surrounding areas)
💰 Salary: £32,000 per annum (DOE – flexibility available for the right candidate)
📄 Contract Type: Permanent
🕒 Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
About the Role:
We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Fitter/Mechanic to join our team based in Cheam. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of grounds maintenance equipment. Your work will be essential in keeping our machinery running smoothly and efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime for our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Carry out routine servicing, fault diagnosis, and repairs on a variety of grounds maintenance machinery and equipment
2. Ensure all equipment is operating efficiently, safely, and in line with company standards
3. Work independently and as part of a team to manage maintenance schedules and urgent repairs
4. Keep accurate maintenance records and report any recurring issues
What We’re Looking For:
5. Strong mechanical skills with a solid understanding of machinery and vehicle systems
6. Experience in maintaining and servicing grounds maintenance equipment is highly desirable
7. Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic abilities
8. A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
10. Full UK driving license is essential
Ideal Candidate:
