Overview
Outreach Mentor - Wythenshawe: Are you a reliable and compassionate Outreach Driver looking to make a difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking drivers to join a specialist SEMH provision in Wythenshawe (M22), supporting young people in the community. This is a unique and rewarding role that combines transportation, community outreach and student support.
Responsibilities
* Transporting students to and from educational settings and outreach activities
* Supporting students in the community under set work plans
* Building positive relationships and promoting engagement
* Working closely with teaching staff and outreach coordinators
* Ensuring safeguarding and safety protocols are followed at all times
Position Details
* Position: Outreach Mentor
* Location: Wythenshawe
* Type of Work: Temporary
* Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time only
* Minimum Rate of Pay: £120 per day, depending on experience
* Start date: ASAP
* End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications
* Full, UK driving license is essential for this role
* Experience working with young people, ideally with SEMH, or behavioural needs
* Calm, patient and confident in lone-working situations
* Comfortable driving your own car (mileage reimbursed)
Eligibility
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional references
