The role
The Financial Services team within S&M&A Operations is a successful, growing, and supportive team that specialises in helping clients pre-transaction by assessing FS companies’ operations and technology, and identifying value creation opportunities. We also assist clients post-deal with transformation programmes, including planning operational separations and mergers. Our team collaborates with PwC’s wider practice areas such as Transaction Services and Strategy & Consulting.

The role involves some travel; however, clients are increasingly comfortable with remote work. Our team is committed to collaborative work at least 3 days per week, with flexibility based on mutual trust.
What your days will look like:
As a Senior Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Leading high-profile M&A transactions involving technology, including IT separations, integrations, and due diligence projects.
* Managing projects by developing teams, assessing risks, driving conclusions, and reviewing outputs.
* Developing strategies for complex technical challenges.
* Managing client portfolios proactively.
* Training, coaching, and supervising staff.
* Overseeing financial management of clients.
* Leading business development activities to identify new opportunities.
* Contributing to technical skill development for yourself and your team.
The skills & experience we're looking for:
* Experience in IT roles within financial services or in the financial services industry (Banking, Payments, Insurance, Asset & Wealth Management).
* Or experience in IT separation, integration, or due diligence.
Additional skills include:
* Knowledge of IT application systems and infrastructure in financial services.
* Ability to assess IT impact on business aspects during transactions.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with senior leaders.
* Strong analytical and written skills, capable of working with incomplete information.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage ambiguity.
* Understanding of financial analysis and drivers of financial data.
