Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen within NHS Dumfries & Galloway for Specialist Radiographers to join our team and support the provision of our 24/7 imaging service at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary.
Responsibilities
* Support the 24/7 imaging service, EWD and weekend provision.
* Lead safely, effectively and efficiently within the department.
* Participate in staff development and training.
* Use state‑of‑the‑art MRI equipment to carry out MRI examinations.
* Engage with the Scottish National PACS service and contribute to PACS reporting.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in MRI.
* Sound working knowledge of clinical guidelines and safety standards within MRI.
* Strong people skills and ability to lead.
* Willingness to participate in staff development and training.
Contract details
* Fixed term basis ending 31/03/2027.
