We carry out Thorough Examinations on lifting equipment under the LOLER and PUWER regulations, nationwide for large multi-site customers and smaller independent businesses. In this role you’ll be responsible contacting customers to book the work. Responsibilities and duties Contacting customers to arrange inspections on their equipment by email and telephone Answer calls from engineers and customers assisting with queries Provide updates to customers as required on the status of their booking Highlight any areas of concerns or areas of improvement to the Bookings and Logistics Supervisor Checking that the engineer worksheets are correct and with all relevant information before sending Working closely with the Bookings and Logistics Supervisor to make decisions based on business and customer requirements Qualifications and skills required Essential Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office. A high degree of autonomy, attention to detail and the ability to problem solve Excellent communication skills to a wide variety of people, including handling any objections the customer may raise. Ability to work under pressure and multitask, whilst maintaining the highest level of customer service possible Desirable Previous experience in a booking role At least 3 years’ customer service experience. Knowledge of the lifting equipment industry
