Role: You’ll report directly into the supportive Event Operations Manager, and be working alongside 2 other Event Executives, and with the support of two Event Administrators. You will take full project ownership of your allocated events – from prestigious award ceremonies, conferences and round tables, to high profile lectures and think tanks with government officials, industry leaders and politicians. You’ll have a real mix of events, balanced between both large and small, giving you great variety, and bringing you into contact with varied internal and external contacts as well external suppliers and speakers. You’ll deal directly with the internal Stakeholder, and alongside content, marketing and sales teams. You’ll be the main project manager for the successful event delivery, so excellent communication skills are essential. You’ll pre-plan and deliver all the event logistics elements, pre-event and on-site, with the support of the Event Assistants, and also all associated communications including Speaker liaison. We’re also looking to find someone with good copy writing and copy checking ability so you can coordinate all relevant event communications. You We’re looking an experienced Event Executive, proactive with very solid event delivery skills, and the confidence and communication skills to deal confidently and successfully with varied contacts and stakeholders both internally and externally. You’ll ideally have worked across a broad range of event formats, with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with a strong client/customer focus – and a passion to deliver excellent events. Specifically you’ll bring: Proven end to end event co-ordination / event management experience – ideally across a wide variety of events (conferences, roundtables, awards etc) Experience directly dealing with client/stakeholders to ensure their event is delivered in line with objectives Event logistics, venue and supplier liaison, delegate and speaker co-ordination and communications Solid proof reading and copy writing ability Confident and with the appropriate communication style to deal with senior level stakeholders Able to drive things forward – proactive, highly organised Able to work autonomously, as well as well in a team Good to deal with –professional, natural and confident Good multi-tasking ability and to able to work flexibly If you have previously worked in a professional membership environment that is beneficial but not essential.
