Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Childhood Studies graduates to work as Teaching Assistants (TAs) within secondary schools starting in September and on an ongoing basis.

The Role
* Deliver targeted 1:1 and small group interventions to support student progress
* Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
* Help create a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff to support students with varying needs
* Apply and strengthen your subject knowledge in a real classroom setting
* Support classroom management and contribute to a focused learning atmosphere
Who We’re Looking For
* A degree in Early Childhood Studies (or similar early years/child development discipline)
* A genuine interest in working with young people and pursuing a career in education
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Confidence, adaptability, and a proactive approach
* The ability to maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning
* Previous school or youth-based experience (desirable but not essential)
* An understanding of SEND needs (such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or speech and language) is highly desirable
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one, as well as satisfactory background checks

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
