Delta Academies Trust is looking to appoint an Attendance and Welfare Officer and DDSL at Willoughby Road Primary Academy, Scunthorpe to join our academy in January 2026 on a full‑time, permanent basis.
Salary Grade F – Points 14 to 19 (£29,540 – £32,061 Full Time Equivalent) subject to pro‑rata. The minimum actual pro‑rata salary per annum for this job starts at £24,866.13.
Responsibilities
* Lead the administration of pupil data, information and attendance.
* Implement ‘first day’ response strategies and policy to improve attendance.
* Conduct home visits to support attendance improvement.
* Provide high‑quality safeguarding and pastoral support alongside Designated Safeguarding Leads.
* Maintain accurate records and coordinate with staff, pupils, parents and external agencies.
* Develop positive, respectful and responsive relationships with parents/carers and partners.
* Fulfil the role of Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL).
