An exciting opportunity for a SPECIALIST/HIGHLY SPECIALIST SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPIST (SLT) (Band 6/7) to join our team:

Contract: Part-time (22.5 hrs / 41 weeks per year) Full-time (37.5 hrs /41 weeks per year) considered

At MindSenseAbility (MSA) we transform lives. We are a forward-looking specialist therapeutic and educational service for young people (aged up to 25 years) with Autism, developmental trauma and mental health needs, in the New Forest. We provide bespoke therapeutic & educational programmes to empower every young person to use their voice. We meet the young people where they are and may travel to homes, and schools and locations in the community throughout Hampshire.
With the launch of our brand-new specialist SEN school at East Street Farm (opening Summer 2026), there has never been a more exciting time to join us.
Main duties of the job
As a Speech and Language Therapist with us, you’ll be part of an innovative multidisciplinary team alongside Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Psychiatry, Teachers and Outreach Workers. Together, we breakdown barriers and empower young people to participate in education, family and community life and advocate for themselves.

We are looking for
* HCPC registered Speech and Language Therapist
* 3 years experience of working with young people with Autism, learning disabilities and/or mental health needs
* Enthusiasm, drive and compassion to engage young people
* A team player who thrives in multidisciplinary work and is passionate about family centred, strengths based practice
* A commitment to growing your knowledge, skills and clinical expertise
* A car owner with a full driving licence

Salary: £39,959 to £56,515 (depending on experience, NHS Band 7 equivalent)
