What the Job Involves The planner role supports the Strategic Planning and Infrastructure team, which includes Development Management, Planning Enforcement, and Spatial Planning functions. Responsibilities include processing planning applications, handling appeals and enforcement, contributing to planning strategies, aiding in policy preparation, and engaging the public in co-design initiatives. Collaboration with internal and external partners to deliver service priorities and maintain high levels of customer service is key. The role involves attending meetings beyond usual hours as needed and may require specialization in certain planning disciplines.
