Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated SEN Support Assistant to join a welcoming school in Fleetwood. This role focuses on supporting children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), helping them thrive in both academic and social settings.
What you’ll do:
Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with ASC.
Implement strategies to promote engagement, independence, and emotional regulation.
Work closely with teachers and SENCO to deliver personalised learning plans.
Foster a positive, inclusive environment where every child feels valued.
What we’re looking for:
Experience supporting children with ASC or other additional needs (school or care setting).
Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to learning.
Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
Relevant qualifications or willingness to undertake training.
