We’re seeking a senior Corporate Communications & PR Lead to protect and enhance the reputation of a major UK telecoms infrastructure organisation.
This is a high‑profile role where you’ll shape corporate narrative, manage reputational risk, and lead engagement across media, government, communities, and industry stakeholders.
The Role
Reporting to the Chief Customer Officer, you will:
* Lead corporate affairs, PR, and external communications strategy
* Own issues management and crisis communications
* Act as a trusted advisor to the C‑suite on reputational risk
* Oversee internal communications and community engagement
* Manage PR agencies and key external partners
Key Focus Areas
* Protect and strengthen corporate reputation in a complex, high‑scrutiny environment
* Lead stakeholder engagement with media, local authorities, MPs, and community groups
* Manage communications around sensitive infrastructure delivery and public concerns
* Drive thought leadership across sustainability, digital inclusion, and social impact
* Ensure clear governance, consistency, and high‑quality messaging
About You
* Proven leader in Corporate Communications / PR / Corporate Affairs
* Strong telecoms or infrastructure sector experience (essential)
* Expertise in crisis communications and issues management
* Experience working with government and public sector stakeholders
* Confident advising senior leadership and operating under pressure
