We are looking for a highly skilled and innovative individual to join our team within a well- established supported accommodation programme in Sheffield. If you are creative, dynamic, committed and have something to offer us we wish to hear from you. Our programme offers support to vulnerable men and women experiencing homelessness, to enable them to live independent lives in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
This role is providing leadership and inspiration to the staff and encouraging an enabling environment, leading in psychologically informed practice within the values of The Salvation Army. The role requires liaison with the Local Authority Commissioners, as well as other agencies. You will also have responsibility of the centre budget and other housing management responsibilities.
The successful candidate(s) will be able to:
1. Demonstrable previous experience of successfully managing and delivering a similar support service to clients
2. Strong knowledge of issues relating to homelessness including current legislation, government policy, the state benefits framework and any relevant client support pathways
3. Previous experience of successfully leading and managing a team to deliver objectives
4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to develop strong, successful and collaborative working relationships with clients, colleagues and external partners
