The practice offers a full range of veterinary services, including nurse clinics and dental procedures, and is well-equipped with three consult rooms, separate dog and cat waiting areas, and an in-house laboratory. The team consists of two experienced vets, an RVN, three CCAs, and a PCA. Their senior vet is an Advanced Practitioner in Ophthalmology and holds a Post Graduate Certificate in the field, with additional training in western veterinary acupuncture and electroacupuncture. The branch partner is also highly qualified, holding an RCVS Certificate in Veterinary Dermatology. This role is primarily consult-based, so someone with a medical bias and a passion for developing strong client relationships would be an excellent fit! Located in a picturesque small town with a rich history, the practice sits near Finham Brook, a tributary of the River Sowe, which joins the River Avon just a couple of miles away. The town benefits from excellent transport links, including a nearby train station, making it easily accessible. The role offers a 40-hour workweek across four days, with a shared weekend rota of 1 in 6 at their sister 24-hour hospital nearby. The ideal candidate will be RCVS registered, experienced in collaborative teamwork, and able to demonstrate strong clinical leadership skills.
