We have an exciting opportunity for a Food Safety & Quality Graduate to join our business. A hands-on opportunity to understand and impact on food safety, quality and animal welfare across a fast-paced food manufacturing environment ensuring legislative compliance, customer excellence and continuous improvement. Responsibilities As part of the Food Safety & Quality Audit team you will gain a wide range of food safety & quality and business experience skills through continuous on the job development with coaching and mentoring. Your role will see you tackle a wide range of business challenges in a busy environment, some of your responsibilities will include: - Conducting Internal Food Safety systems and customer related audits; - Overseeing the closing out of audits and drafting non-conformance reports; - Reviewing audit standards and technology; - Carrying out the approval process for new suppliers of raw materials, packaging and key contracted service providers; - Conducting risk assessments on new and current suppliers utilising risk assessment outcomes to develop documentation review frequency and audit activity; - Updating approved supplier lists; - Evaluating trend and key performance indicators from data identifying areas for improvement; - Trending and analysing data from external audits focusing on areas of possible improvement; - Proving support to other Group Food Safety functions as and when requested - Working collaboratively with the Food Safety and Quality team - Understanding the importance of food safety standards, legal and regulatory framework and its impact within the business.
