Days/hours of work: Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 10.00pm 37.5 hours per week
You would need to be flexible but mostly work 2pm to 10pm and your first week is a day shift for training
Pay from 6am to 6pm is £13.10

We are looking for an Automat Technician to join our client at their site in Marsh Barton, Exeter, to assist the Automat Engineer in ensuring all aspects of Service Centre automation are maintained, serviceable and operating efficiently.
Job Purpose:
To ensure all aspects of Service Centre automation is maintained, serviceable and operating efficiently.
Key Accountabilities and what to expect from the role:
* To perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and repair live breakdowns when required on the automated pick system, (Automat and integrated line), using electrical/electronic, mechanical and pneumatic disciplines.
* To maintain and repair the associated equipment where applicable to the role (subject to qualifications and legal requirements), consisting of compressors, label printers, strapping machines, manual barcode scanners, PCs and printers
* To carry out maintenance tasks in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring the safety of others around you, complying with health and safety procedures and goods distribution practice (GDP) guidelines.
* Where specialist repairs are required, the Automat Technician is expected to arrange for the timely execution of this work, including overseeing contractors on site when necessary.
* To communicate daily with the Automat Engineer to ensure maintenance schedules are up to date and any issues relating to the automation system are raised.
* To communicate and liaise with the Automat Engineer to ensure a comprehensive stock of spare parts is readily available to support the Automat and associated equipment.
* To maintain records relating to the maintenance and repair of the equipment and the spare parts stockholding.
* To liaise with the Companys internal management to ensure maximum availability, reliability and efficiency is achieved in the operation and day to day running of the Automat.
* To support with automation system projects when necessary, including BAU testing.
* To assist in staff training that is directly related to the correct and safe practice for automated equipment.
* Maintain standards in accordance with the Health & Safety Policy.
* To support the facilities and maintenance team as and when required.
Heres the kind of person that would fit us best:
* Broad based knowledge of Electrical/Mechanical equipment, with previous technical experience spent with computer-controlled machinery or similar 2 years or more preferred.
* Experience of pneumatics, conveying systems and compressed air.
* Intermediate numeracy and literacy are also requirements of the role.
* Ability to use own initiative and problem-solving skills.
* Attention to detail.
* Good communication skills.
* Good time management skills.
* Can work effectively individually or collaboratively in a team environment.
