Principal or Senior Engineer Our client operates a fleet of rental equipment, largely comprising of structural support products, these are designed and arranged into configurations to provide temporary works solutions for their clients. As Senior or Principal Engineer, you will be in a senior role within the core shoring team, providing and checking high quality designs. The core shoring team provides temporary works designs and technical support for the UK and Ireland. You will have worked previously in a similar role. The seniority level of the job role will depend upon your experience and qualifications. Key Responsibilities * To manage the workload and take a leading role in the day to day operation of the engineering teams. Competence in both structural and geotechnical design. * To produce high quality design solutions in a timely manner whilst ensuring all proposed designs are fully compliant with all current regulations and best practices. * To design highly complex schemes (Cat3) and checking moderately complex schemes (Cat2). * To provide supervision, training and mentoring to Graduate and Design Engineers. * To be a key point of contact and technical support for our sales team and clients.
