How will you make an impact?HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

As the leading ambassador and business leader of Panerai in the UK, the Brand Director is responsible for driving the brand’s strategic development, commercial performance, and organizational excellence in alignment with the global Panerai vision. This role owns the regional P&L, oversees all distribution channels, and leads strategic investments to elevate brand desirability, awareness, and long-term growth. The Brand Director works closely with Richemont UK leadership and Panerai’s international headquarters in Switzerland and Italy to ensure regional alignment and operational execution across all business areas.

Strategic Leadership & Brand Development

1. Translate the global brand strategy into market-specific plans that increase awareness, desirability, and client engagement.
2. Collaborate with Panerai HQ and Richemont UK leadership to evolve and execute a long-term growth strategy across all channels.
3. Continually identify opportunities to maximize Panerai’s market potential in the UK.
4. Provide thought leadership and inspiration within both Panerai and Richemont UK to shape the future of the Maison.

Financial Management & Commercial Performance

5. Own and deliver all financial KPIs: sales, EBIT, cash, inventory, CAPEX, and working capital.
6. Lead a high-performing, data-driven commercial strategy across retail, wholesale, and e-commerce channels.
7. Deliver and exceed channel-specific metrics: sell-in/sell-out, market share, SOSI, NPS, conversion rates, and client KPIs.
8. Anticipate and resolve challenges across all areas of the business through agile, results-driven leadership.

Team Leadership & Organizational Culture

9. Lead by example and foster a high-performing, inclusive, and client-centric team culture.
10. Provide an inspiring vision to employees and support their development through active performance management, mentoring, and succession planning.
11. Partner with HR to lead and support all people processes (recruitment, KPIs, performance reviews, compensation cycles, talent management).
12. Create a collaborative, transparent, and respectful work environment aligned with Panerai and Richemont values.

Omnichannel Operational Excellence

13. Drive seamless integration across physical and digital channels to elevate client experience and commercial outcomes.
14. Oversee boutique operations and retail excellence (owned and external doors), including visual merchandising, client service, and boutique fit-outs with HQ and real estate teams.
15. Lead and manage all key operational functions, including supply chain, inventory, after-sales service, and repairs.
16. Ensure robust risk management, in collaboration with Richemont Legal, including compliance, distribution agreements, labor law, and grey market control.

Marketing, Communications & Client Engagement

17. Build and execute regionally relevant marketing strategies that align with global brand guidelines.
18. Lead all PR, media, events, and digital activations to drive brand heat, boutique traffic and client engagement.
19. Establish and manage the regional marketing and communications budget, maximizing return on investment and client engagement.

Stakeholder & Industry Engagement

20. Serve as the main liaison between Panerai HQ, Richemont UK, and shared service teams across all functions.
21. Represent Panerai externally with landlords, vendors, partners, and key industry stakeholders.
22. Maintain awareness of market trends, competitor activities, and client behavior to inform strategic decision-making.
23. Build and nurture a pipeline of top industry talent by developing relationships across the luxury sector.

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

24. Bachelor’s degree and/or master’s degrees in a relevant field preferred.
25. Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in general management, brand leadership, and commercial progressive roles in luxury goods or a related industry.
26. 10+ years of leadership experience managing cross-functional and geo. diverse teams.
27. Deep expertise in retail and omnichannel strategy, client development, and operations.Experience in a matrixed, multi-brand global organization preferred.
28. Strategic thinker with excellent business and financial acumen.
29. Proven ability to lead through complexity and influence across functions and levels.
30. Inspires peak performance and cultivates an inclusive, empowering work culture.
31. Results-driven, agile, and resilient under pressure.
32. Creative problem-solver with high learning agility and curiosity.
33. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a people-centric leadership style.
