Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
We are currently recruiting for an IT Technical Support Officer to join a busy and forward-thinking Digital, Data and Technology team based in Brentwood.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills and a solid technical foundation to play a key role in delivering high-quality IT support services.
The Role
Working alongside Technical Analysts, you will provide a first-line, high-quality Technical Service Desk function, ensuring users receive efficient and professional IT support.
You will be a key contributor to the delivery of Digital, Data and Technology services, supporting both day-to-day operations and project-based work.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver first-line IT support via the Service Desk
* Provide excellent customer service and technical assistance to end users
* Support a range of IT issues across hardware and software
* Assist with hardware commissioning and decommissioning
* Carry out general IT support tasks as required
* Work collaboratively with Technical Analysts and wider IT teams
About You
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft technologies
* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively
* Organised, proactive, and able to manage a varied workload
* Experience working in a Service Desk or IT support environment
Desirable
* Understanding or certification in ITIL
