We are looking for a dynamic, organized, and self-starting Planning and Ops manager who can drive innovation, set up processes, and execute operational and supply chain excellence in Amazon India business. This role is particularly challenging given the marketplace model in India.
You will own the operational performance of sellers and vendors on the marketplace, influence FC Ops processes, and collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance vendor and customer experience. You will also be responsible for driving system and process improvements by working with Seller ISMs, SC Ops teams, vendor operations, and delivering key operational programs that ensure the sustainability and profitability of Amazon India in the long term. Responsibilities include creating, reviewing, and supporting business cases, conducting research and analysis, and developing solutions from conceptualization through execution and monitoring.
This position requires strong self-motivation, project management skills, and the ability to work closely with category leaders, planning and forecasting managers, operations teams, and technology teams. The goal is to develop strategies, dashboards, and execution modes to address complex inbound operation challenges. You will work with cross-functional teams to improve seller/vendor operational performance and implement key operational improvement programs.
Key job responsibilities
* Ensure seller/vendor operational performance delivery in line with targets
* Identify and articulate the strategic importance of metrics to manage tradeoffs, improve customer experience, and support decision-making with stakeholders
* Collaborate with vendor operations teams on strategies to reduce costs, lead time, and waste across the supply chain
* Define, prioritize, and monitor the execution of programs and projects to meet targets on time
* Retrieve and analyze data using Excel, Access, SQL, or other data management systems
* Monitor project execution to ensure quality and adherence to timelines, maintaining program integrity
* Work with cross-functional teams to deliver operational performance and projects
* Demonstrate strong analytical skills, deep dive bias, excellent communication, influence, curiosity, motivation, and effectiveness in distributed teams
The position is based in Bangalore, India.

Driving supply planning with sellers to ensure the right balance of inbound shipments, maintaining product availability, and optimizing inbound labor.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
4-5 years of supply chain or operations experience in a fast-paced environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience managing a team in a fast-paced operations environment is preferred.
