Credit Control Administrator

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Credit Control Administrator to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the company’s credit control processes, ensuring timely payments from clients, and maintaining healthy cash flow. This position requires excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of financial services, as well as the ability to analyse data effectively.

About the role
6. Accurately allocate all customer receipts in line with remittance advice
7. Follow up with customers where receipts are received without remittance to avoid unallocated cash
8. Support Credit Controllers with sending copy invoices
9. Maintain unallocated cash below the targeted value
10. Raise credit notes and invoices in accordance with agreed internal processes
11. Manage departmental mailboxes, including remittances and other customer queries
12. Collaborate with the credit control team to ensure all administration tasks are completed promptly
13. Reconcile the bank statement against receipts allocated in Sage 200
About you
14. Experience in a similar role is essential
15. Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate financial records.
16. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple accounts efficiently while meeting deadlines.
17. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on professional phone etiquette.
