We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of food safety practices. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting delightful beverages, providing exceptional service, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware and equipment.
* Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible serving practices.
* Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for billing purposes.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary.
* Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service for all patrons.
* Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a restaurant or bar environment is desirable.
* Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
* Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs.
* Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
* A friendly demeanor with the ability to engage positively with guests.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 20 per week
