Detailed job description and main responsibilities 1. Lead the recording of apprentices details onto external DfE Digital Apprenticeship Service (DAS) and monitor progression for timely completion. Manage the employer portal via the DfE DAS, including uploading apprenticeship vacancies on Find an Apprentice. Manage regular the DAS portal for provider activities through scheduled meetings with stakeholders delivering provision to ensure use of Levy payment is accurate to proceed. Lead on Trust apprenticeship programme for implementation of learning and final assessments; including negotiation of price with external providers, colleges and Higher Education Institutes, checking of procured apprentice contracts with Salisbury Managed Procurement Services (SMPS) for accuracy and timely senior budget holder signature. Clearly communicate to Divisional Leads, Managers and individuals enquiring about the apprenticeship programme for confirmed eligibility of applicants' for funding in compliance with DfE Apprenticeship Funding rules and supporting all mentors/line managers who have apprentices, through conducting apprentice evaluations and ensuring managers complete end of contract process. Manage and maintain comprehensive information and data on all apprentices who access BCHC Levy in accordance with DfE Employer Funding rules/regulations and make readily available for the purpose of internal / external audit. Person specification Qualifications Essential criteria Educated to degree level or equivalent Training qualification e.g TAQA qualification or equivalent Internal Quality Assurers/ Assessors Award or equivalent Assessors Award or equivalent Experience Essential criteria Significant experience of internal verification and assessment of care or business awards Co-ordination of learning programmes that span across months/ years Coaching/ mentoring experience to support learners and staff on an individual basis or group setting Experience of supporting staff development on a 1-1 or group basis through training Experience of developing and obtaining accreditation for new awards/ credits Experience of developing and maintaining working relationships with external organisations and internal stakeholders Ability to plan and manage staff through use of operational processes and systems for effective management of programmes skills and knowledge Essential criteria Ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively and with flexibility Thorough understanding of and commitment to Equality and Diversity Excellent listening, and presentation skills A highly organised approach Able to generate verbal and written communication which is relevant, concise, accurate and legible at all levels Ability to build effective working relationships at all levels UK Home Office Visa Sponsorship requirements In accordance with UK Home Office requirements, Band 2 clinical and non-clinical roles and Band 3 Non-Clinical roles are not eligible for sponsorship.
