The Job
This position will provide 2nd line support to a range of mission critical services within the wider business. You would be managing, supporting, maintaining, and upgrading the on-board IT infrastructure of the company fleet. This support analyst / engineer will offer remote IT support, & occasionally onsite support to the fleet; whilst participating in the design & implementation of the company wide IT infrastructure.
This role will see you:
* Install, configure and troubleshooting physical/virtual machines, laptops, printers, mobiles, tablets, storage systems and network devices.
* Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
* Perform system and network updates/upgrades
* Maintain IT security and backup solutions
* Identify CSIP items to improve service desk functions.
* Major incident management
The Technical Skillset
* Experience across MS tech – Windows 7/10/11, Windows server, AD admin, Exchange, Azure
* MDM admin - Intune. SCCM a bonus.
* Office 365 admin
* Hyper-V virtualisation
* VPN / remote access support
* Hardware support - mobile, desktop, & printer
* Networking skillset (DHCP/DNS/VLAN/Routing)
* Familiarity with any ITSM tools like Fresh Service
