About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals to join our team as Sawmill Operatives. Here at St Johns Sawmill, we manufacture a variety of quality timber products for use across the Isle of Man. This role allows you to contribute to this process by working closely with the production team to produce sawn products to required specifications.
You will work as part of a small team to collaboratively and efficiently operate a variety of sawmill and plant equipment to produce quality timber products for the purpose of sale. This is a manual role in a production-based environment where safety, team working, good communication, efficiency and attention to detail are key.
The working pattern will be 8-hour days, Monday to Thursday and 5 hours (finishing at 1pm) on a Friday.

Annual leave starting from 21 days and 10 Bank Holidays; your annual leave will increase after your first year and again after your third year.
