Job Title: Store Assistant Manager
Salary: £13.34 p/hr
Employment Terms: Flexible working pattern based on a Monday – Sunday 7-day rota.
Location: Croydon and Surrounding area
You will report to the Store Manager and undertake tasks assigned by them, or take on leadership duties in their absence, including opening and closing the store.
You will oversee all aspects of the stock journey, from sorting and pricing donations to display and sales. Expect a varied role with new items daily.
This is a management position supervising a team of dedicated volunteers. It’s important to create a welcoming environment while achieving operational goals.
Who are we Looking For?
* Experience in a busy, hands-on environment where efficiency matters
* Experience in customer service, providing excellent support throughout the day
* Retail experience is desirable but not essential
* Management or supervisory experience is advantageous
* Strong people skills to lead and motivate volunteers
* Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure, self-motivated and driven
