How Your Skills Transfer Crisis Intervention → Supporting students during behavioural episodes Family Systems Knowledge → Understanding how home life impacts learning Assessment Skills → Identifying needs behind challenging behaviours Advocacy Training → Ensuring every child's voice is heard Multi-agency Experience → Working with teachers, therapists, and support services What You'll Do Support children with behavioural difficulties using trauma-informed approaches Work with vulnerable students including looked-after children and those with social services involvement Build therapeutic relationships with students who've experienced adversity Engage families and connect them with community resources Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop support plans Apply de-escalation techniques and positive behaviour strategies Why Your Background Matters You understand that behaviour is communication.
