Mechanical Design Engineer - Building Services London Paying up to £45,000 The Role: As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of mechanical building services systems across a range of projects, including Hospitals, Universities, Prisons, Residential, and Education schemes. Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed mechanical designs including HVAC systems, heating and cooling, ventilation, domestic water services, and public health systems. Carry out feasibility studies, technical calculations, and energy efficiency assessments in line with project requirements. Work closely with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical designs. Produce technical drawings and specifications using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar. Ensure all designs comply with relevant legislation, standards, and regulations (e.g. BS, CIBSE, Building Regulations).
